I’ve been using New Balance 880s for most of my running years, except for one season, in 2017, where I switched to Ghosts, as they did feel slightly more comfortable. I enjoyed them for most of that season, but they deteriorated faster (shoe separating from the sole in several areas) than my previous New Balances, so I switched back to 880s the year after. Having been assured this doesn’t normally happen, I’m giving the Ghosts a new shot this year. One thing is for sure, they definitely are the right shoe for me, and a still find them slightly more comfortable than the comparable 880s.

Depuis que je fais de la course, mon espadrille de choix est la 880 de New Balance. En 2017, j’ai opté pour des Brooks Ghost à la place, car elles me paraissaient encore plus confortables. Malheureusement, elles ont usé très rapidement (semelle qui décolle à plusieurs endroits), alors je suis revenu aux 880 l’année suivante. On m’a toutefois assuré que ce type d’usure n’était pas normal, alors j’ai décidé de réessayer les Ghost pour cette saison. Chose certaine, c’est un soulier qui me convient parfaitement et qui me semble encore une fois légèrement plus confortable que les 880.
