I bought this hat for a friend who is, as I am, a fan of Vera. It is a television show from ITV in England starring Brenda Blethyn as Detective Chief Inspector Vera Stanhope. She wears this hat and is very smart, somewhat brusque and does not suffer fools (or murderers) gladly. So my friend and I love this hat!
