I bought this bag because I&#x27;m a fan of a nice roll top, and I appreciate a little backpack for my day to day meanderings. While I quite like it aesthetically, I found it fell short in practice.

Being unfamiliar with the brand, I dug up a few in-depth reviews prior to purchase, and the backpack was mostly received positively. If you&#x27;re considering this purchase, it&#x27;s likely for the aesthetic, so I&#x27;ll outline a few shortcomings and you can decide if any of those are a deal breaker for you.

First off, double check those measurements. I did, and I knew what I was getting in for. The bag has essentially zero room for expansion and the added space from rolling up the top is marginal at best. It&#x27;s effectively a backpack form purse/murse/satchel/whatever-the-current-terminology-is. It fit my 14&quot; laptop nicely. My water bottle went in well, but the little elastic strap to secure it is near impossible to utilize. You can basically fit that and a few essentials. Want to take your sweater off and put it in the bag? Good luck. I have a similarly sized canvas rucksack and it at least lets you bulge it out a bit. This material doesn&#x27;t give you any wiggle room.

The main drawbacks for me were as follows; the shoulder straps are quite short. I had to let them all the way out to get the bag on comfortably, and then the end of the padded part of the strap was basically in my armpit. Not comfortable. I think the padded section needs to be longer, and the overall shoulder straps could probably use a few inches. It feels like they sized the strap length to the bag, not considering that adults might want to wear it. 

Another detractor is that the front pocket is basically a panel sewn on flat. It isn&#x27;t bulged out at all, so it&#x27;s kind of awkward to get items into/out of it and anything in the front pocket is effectively eating up space from the main compartment. It maintains the clean, minimal aesthetic, but fails as a serviceable pocket. Maybe better to remove it entirely if you want a streamlined look and don&#x27;t want to compromise for function. 

My last qualm is more of an aesthetic one. You see how the bag is shown with the top nicely rolled? Yeah. It doesn&#x27;t do that. The material is relatively stiff and plastic-like, so it just flaps down one time when you buckle it down. It doesn&#x27;t affect functionality, but it looks kind of lame. The top does have a zipper, so there was no concern about objects falling out.

The bag looks cool and seems reasonably well made. If the shortcomings I outlined above don&#x27;t dissuade you, I think it&#x27;s a worthwhile buy.

Style over Function

Nearly everything about the bag is perfect for our use, except for the top latch. I didn&#x27;t want a velcro latch like on the Hajo, since that would wear out. If your bag is not packed enough to hold it closed, the latch comes loose very easily. 

Otherwise the size is just what I needed for a compact daily bag and a compact travel bag.

J’apprécie beaucoup l’accès à l’arrière du sac (zip), car il permet de ne pas toujours à accéder par le dessus.

Super comfy

Bought this backpack because it would fit a 15 inch laptop while looking a bit more dressed up. Seems to do the trick although it&#x27;s a tight fit with my work laptop (would be better with something sleeker like a mac though). Front pocket is not very useful, as others have said and the main compartment is a bit narrow/flat front-to-back, but I like it enough to keep it!

Nice Looking Backpack

Bought this to switch from a shoulder bag to backpack for work. Holds a 15&quot; laptop well plus pockets for cords etc. as shown on the website. Not sure how the material will wear over time but, works well so far and have had many compliments on this sleek looking bag. When I have it full, it&#x27;s a little hard to get things in/out of the front pocket, mainly just use it for a phone. Would be 5 stars otherwise.

Quality bag. My 15 in laptop fits nice and tight in the dedicated lighlty padded pocket. Outside pocket difficult to use when the bag is full.

Je l’utilise pour aller au travail en vélo. La couleur est superbe tel que montrée sur les images du site. La poche de laptop est un peu petite. J’ai un 14’’ et ça fait juste bien.
