As with other Troy Lee Designs helmets, this one fits great. Compared to the TLD A2, it feels like it sits higher on the head (and it does), which looks a bit weird too in my opinion. I think that the plain colors are to blame for this, as some more graphics (in classic TLD fashion) would help make it a bit more &quot;busy&quot;. 

The vent holes are well situated to promote airflow, but at lower speeds it might be a little hotter since there are less holes on each side. The visor has 3 positions to adjust, which are enough to have different options, and the straps have good routing to not interfere with ears. Like most of my other helmets, this one in Medium was the right size even if I am on the smallest size of medium. I could feel the foam&#x27;s shape in the small at the front and back of my head, so medium definately is the right size. The rear adjustment dial offers ample range to fit heads in the suggested size by the chart.

All in all a good helmet (and the safest Virginia tech ratings for safety - 5 stars) that is very comfortable and well constructed, but it sits a bit higher on the head and the looks might not suit everyone. The Flowline SE could be an option (it has more color and graphics options), or the A3 if one wants to stay in the TLD lineup.

I always buy the higher safety rated helmet, and like that this Troy Lee Designs helmet is at a better price point for those that don&#x27;t want all the camera attachments and other things I never use. The style is great and it fits so comfortable and seems to vent well on warmer days.
