I bought this to mount to my existing rack so my Thule child seat would mount properly. Turns out this universal adapter doesn’t clamp small enough to accommodate this. It’s my own fault as in the specs it does provide the tolerances. If it had fit (and I had read the instructions) this would have provided an excellent mounting bracket. In the end I went with a frame mount setup as it was more simplistic. Altitude was very helpful from start to finish.

Not for everyone

Is made of a plastic coating overtop of the structural metal, as others have mentioned, though in my case that only affects the look and feel. It has worked well and feels study though I wish it were quicker for taking off and putting on another bike.

Works as intended

It&#x27;s easy to install and lets me quickly remove the bike seat when not in use. The only downside is that now I can&#x27;t use my panniers on the rack anymore.

Très déçue pour deux raisons.

Le produit est très difficile à installer… on dirait qu’il manque des boulons à la fin des vis. Même l’employé à la boutique de vélo n’en revenait pas - pas sécuritaire du tout ! Aussi, très difficile à enlever une fois installé.

Autre chose : CE PRODUIT N’EST PAS REMBOURSABLE NI ÉCHANGEABLE. Ce n’est pas écrit sur le site (dans la section retour on parle des produits reliés aux poussettes et selon une employée ce produit est inclus dans cette catégorie). Très décevant de la part d’Altitudes Sport, car ce produit est échangeable dans toutes les autres boutiques de vélo. Aussi très mal indiqué sur leur site.

Difficile installation

Very quick and easy to install if you ever want to change it from bike to bike. Only takes a minute.

Easy installation

Makes the Yepp bike seat fit securely on that bike. Feels very safe for our 3 year old.

Very good adapter

Adapter does the job to set up the much more exciting and car-liberating child seat!
