Comfortable with great grip! Perfect in snow and muddy trails !!

These are great for trail running. Super comfortable and alot of grip

I always favour cushioned trail shoes, but find that in my ideal drop (6mm+) there are limited choices. I have a pair of Salomon Glide Max TR's that I really like, however the traction isn't sufficient for more technical or otherwise challenging footing.

I find they perform really well in challenging conditions. I really like the sock-like fit and feel pretty secure, despite the stack height which is on the higher end. They are comfortable but still feel nimble for times when speedy inspiration strikes!

One thing to note is that I had to size up a full size in order to have enough room in the toe box - I wear an 8 in regular shoes and generally an 8.5 in trail shoes. I had to return the 8.5's I bought, but once I had the 9's I was good to go.

One area for improvement is the lacing set-up - there are a limited number of lacing configurations possible with these shoes as there are few eyelets. This isn't a deal breaker by any means, but I would have liked to be able to dial in the fit a bit more in order to have a bit more of a locked-in midfoot feel.

That said, I do appreciate the elastic lace locking feature, it's effective and really easy to use.
