Tried both the Patagonia Houdini and Rab Vital for trail runs on chilly mornings and decided to go with the Vital. Extremely lightweight, great windbreaker, protects from light rain much better than what I had expected from the breathability. I like having pockets and that was a big advantage for me over Houdini. Comfortable with my Salomon running vest over l, and folds up nicely (but there’s a separate pouch whereas the Houdini folds into its own chest pocket)

Lightweight and weatherproof

This windbreaker is so light and packs really small, perfect when those factors matter (ie trekking). I love the beluga color and the way it feels. Efficient too in the wind ! Haven’t yet tested in light rainfalls.

LOVE IT!

Brilliantly designed with wind resistant, and slightly warm jacket. hood is nice to have and the fabric comfortable and no noise. Packs up super small, great for golf or hiking since has some stretch.

Great layer in summer on top of a t-shirt while hiking, or while warming up on a bike ride. Lightweight, easy to pack. Water resistant. Great color and perfect sizing.

I love this summer jacket and the Ultramarine color is gorgeous. I usually wear a medium and this medium fits well. You can tighten the bottom of jacket with a toggle. Arm length is a bit long, but not a deal breaker. My old Vital hoody has been washed several times and still looks great. On cooler days, I have worn a midlayer under the jacket.

Hyper Confo

Bought for my wife and it is her new favourite jacket. It is well-designed and she especially likes the small visor built into the hood and the tab to keep it on while unzipped.
