Vital Hoody

The vital hoody is an extremely light weight garment that will shield you from the wind. The upside of this is it’s pack ability however I was looking for something that could stand up to climbing rock multipitches for a couple of seasons. I ended up going with the Rab Borealis instead.

Great for light use

Nice lightweight windbreaker style jacket, similar to the Squamish from Arc&#x27;teryx, but with much better pricing and hand side pockets (!!!). Compresses really small and will be an excellent lightweight piece to add to your adventures!

Cons: jacket runs small, is very thin (looks very delicate and easy to tear) and not very breathable;
Verdict: Good purchase if on sale (around 100$).

Light but very thin

The Vital Hoody by Rab is a quality made windbreaker, mostly for cooler summer weather, but could also be used in spring/fall with extra layering. The jacket is slim fit, super lightweight, and well constructed with side and inner pockets. Will use it extensively for hiking, biking and other outdoors sports in cooler conditions.

Excellent summer windbreaker

Simple windshell that works. The front button is nice to keep the jacket together for a bit of venting. Hood fits very well.
