Downpour Eco Jacket

The coat is well constructed in terms of waterproofing. However, like many raincoats in this category, it lacks mesh and ventilation points. I only put it on to try it out and almost immediately felt my perspiration and the fabric sticking to my skin. I returned it and opted for the McKinley Terang.

Fit is good. Medium for 5 ft 8. I trust this for downpour weather and the fact that it is PFC free makes you feel much better about the purchase

Feels quality

My wife was looking for a rain jacket for cycling that had more room for her chest than typical cycling options, which tend to favour petite athletic builds. This jacket fits well enough for riding in a more upright position and the men’s cut gives her both the longer sleeves needed to reach the bars and more room in the chest without being baggy. Good waterproofing, although may get hot/damp inside from sweat as it’s not a breathable fabric like GoreTex. Excellent value and quality for the price.

Love that coat, can go on horseback, heavy winds and rain, training be it just cardio or more. Ideal for putting something under as well if you need to.

Liked color,fit was rather snug and did not permit an underlayment. I&#x27;m 6,2&amp; 204 lbs. Jacket has no liner.
