The women’s Alpha Direct is a light, mobile, and highly versatile insulated jacket built for mountain environments. Its padded with Polartec Alpha Direct 120 insulation. This unique synthetic padding balances moisture control and breathability when you’re mobile, while delivering warmth and protection from chilly winds when you’re static. It also allows the Alpha Direct to be worn as a standalone coat or heavy mid-layer depending on the temperature and your environment. Rab furnished the jacket with a durable and flexible Pertex Microlight outer fabric, minimizing abrasions from hiking packs. Its under-the-helmet hood tightens with a drawcord and features a tricot lined collar for face protection. A 2-way YKK front zipper is backed by an internal storm flap.
