I am likely sending them back because they are a bit big. But will order the size down as the cut and style is awesome. The waist is a little tight to pull over the hips but I think they fit a little bigger than usual. It also depends if you like them a little looser or not.

Great shorts for rafting!

I love these shorts. They&#x27;re tough, they don&#x27;t squish up or move when you bend over, and have all the right pockets. They&#x27;re quick dry and the built-in belt is great too. I&#x27;ll be ordering a second pair... this is it for me for hiking/ camping/ kayaking shorts from now on.

Awesome shorts for those with smaller waists and larger/muscular legs! Slightly difficult to pull up over my hips but once they’re on they fit great. Long enough to keep my thighs from chafing but also not too long

Short outdoor Patagonia small

I love the functions of the pockets and general material and length. It&#x27;s a fantastic everyday outdoor pant. It has deep pockets which is great for a phone and even small bottles of bug spray or sun screen. My only issue is I am always a size XS with Patagonia. I wear size 27 usually. It takes some shimmying to get the pants over my hips, but once it&#x27;s on, it&#x27;s comfortable and comfortably roomy around my waist. The waist band is not elastic so it makes it hard to stretch to get over the hips, even when loosened to the maximum length. I would consider sizing up if your hips are larger.

Functional but Tight

These shorts will be great for summer and warmer weather and will dry quickly on those days you need a quick dip in the river or lake! Great for hiking, water sports or just everyday.
The fit is relatively true to size though the waist has minimal stretch so difficult to pull over the hips; but fits well once at the waist.

Ultralight outdoor shorts

I loovvvee these shorts but if you are a curvy girl just know you will have to slowly inch them on si ce the belt doesn&#x27;t stretch...

Short courte Patagonia

I have been wanting these shorts for a long time. I bought my usual Patagonia size S. I have other pants from this brand in size S and they fit comfortably. But not this one. I could not even get these to go up over my hips. For reference, I am 5.5, 127lbs with 28in waste. There is absolutely no stretch in the fabric. So I had to return it. Too bad, because I loved everything else about it.
