Zipper pockets are a game changer

I&#x27;ve struggled to find a light durable hiking short that wasn&#x27;t too baggy, too long or both. These fit the bill and the material is light and stretchy and stays comfortable in humid weather. The pockets are all zippered: cargo, front and deep rear pockets good for phones or other big stuff. Highly recommended. Not 5 stars because they&#x27;re pricey.

Light, versatile hiking shorts

I’m 5’10” and I ordered a size 30. Fits good. Good for multiple activities including swim trunks. Love the fact the pockets are zippered. Overall highly recommend.

Great fabric and colours zippers

Awesome shorts for mountain biking! We’ll placed pockets. iPhone 8 fits great on the leg pocket and doesn’t swing around. Amazing shorts and fit true to size. Usually wear 33 in casual shorts but chose 32 for biking and very happy!

Excellent MTB shorts

Love the stretch in the waistband and the zippered pockets. They are fairly wide along the bottom but will give you freedom of movement.

Technical Comfort

This semi lightweight short is great for anyone looking for a multifunctional, high quality and good looking short. Good for most outdoor/indoor activities that require shorts. They may seem expensive but are well worth the price and is backed by Patagonia’s Ironclad Guarantee. 
Pros:
Dark Color (resists stains better than light)
Zippered pockets (no more losing stuff when you sit down or squat)
Stretchy material and waistband (comfortable and adaptable)
Good quality materials (made from recycled bluesign approved material) 
Fair trade certified sewn
Cons:
No liner (I prefer this however this could be seen as a negative. Patagonia has other zippered pocket shorts with a liner if you prefer one) 
Expensive (depends on how you look at it. I think they’re worth every penny)
