Bought this for my husband who has a large head. It does fit and is cool on his head. It provides lots of protection. I bought the large.

Seems well made, looks ok and is pretty breathable.

Great hat. Runs true to size. My head is 22.75&quot; and the S/M fits perfect. If you&#x27;re head is any bigger go with the L/XL. The large mesh panels allow good airflow. I would definitely recommend it.

The hat is an attractive pewter color. The sizing is good but not adjustable while the top of the hat lacks supportive sides and collapses on top of the head. Overall quality is good.

This hat (size L/XL) fits comfortably on my big melon. I usually wear an XL in Outdoor Research hats so was not totally confident when ordering L/XL that this would fit but it did and wasn&#x27;t tight. The brim is wide and stiffer than other OR sun hats I&#x27;ve had, but I welcome the extra protection. The mesh sides are great for ventilation. I need the UV protection a wide-brimmed hat offers yet I get hot while hiking (main use for these hats) so the mesh on the sides helps with ventilation. No regrets with this purchase.

The large mesh area great for venting heat

This hat is rated s/m for sizing. I take a 7 3/8 size hat which normally translates into a medium. This hat is larger than that and hangs a little over my ears. It has no synch inside for adjustment. If you require a perfectly sized hat, you will need to go with a Tilley or other sized brand. Other than sizing, the hat is reasonably well made and provides good sun coverage.

Fits a little large

I was looking for a hat to offer some solid sun protection while gardening and hiking, and this one does the trick. It’s light as a feather and is very comfortable. I have a large head and find that many hats don’t fit me; this one was true to size and rests so easily on my head that I forget it’s there. While it certainly isn’t a fashionable hat, it’s a workhorse and I have no doubt I’ll enjoy it for years to come.
