With a 12" inseam these shorts come just a little past the top of knee - just where I want them (I'm 6' 2"). Pockets in the front are deep, right side zip pocket is odd but you get used to it fast and will accommodate a large phone. Or two. No back pockets.

s where the sizing varies. My Ferrosi pants are 34 waist, these are 32 waist but they fit just fine. In fact if I've got the pockets loaded up I use a belt to make sure they don't slip. So I would suggest ordering down at least one size for the waist. My only complaint is that there is a big "OUTDOOR RESEARCH" across the entire rear waist band. This isn't on the 10" inseam shorts. Now in practice your top will hide it unless you tuck it in or aren't wearing a top. But that's minor, super comfortable and look good. I recommend. These Ferrosi 🩳 shorts are multipurpose. Whether you are hiking or wearing them over a chamois, these shorts don’t disappoint. The material is stretchy and allows for maximum flexibility and comfort. It has plenty of pockets, some of which are zippered. And they look rather classy.

Made with the same material used for the Ferrosi long pants that have earned such a fine reputation. Light, stretchy, quick-dying. A good length inseam. The waist is elasticated around the back.

Stretchy, lightweight, breathable and comfortable. They fit well and are very nice. Quick drying. Side zippered pocket is big enough for a phone. All that is missing is one pocket in the rear. Otherwise excellent short. Would buy again!
