Oakley's size chart is wrong. Helmet is border line too small, just fits when the boa system is fully opened. if your head is 57cm or bigger buy a large.

This is the third time I’ve purchased a Mod1 MIPS . And not for good reasons, I’ve had to replace due to sustaining some type of damage not crash related. always stored carefully. It would be nice to not have to replace my helmet every year. Oakley’s replacement deal where they offer 50% off a new helmet after damage is only useful if they have stock. Not ideal in the middle of the ski season. It leaves me doubting that this helmet could protect me sufficiently in an actual crash.
It is comfortable for all day wear and is the best fitting helmet I’ve had. It does fit well with Oakley goggles as well. I find unadjustable vents to be a bit inconvenient as the two front vents allow for way too much airflow in my line miner goggles causing my eyes to water constantly while riding.

This helmet does everything I bought it for - it’s comfortable and warm. I haven’t used it in warmer weather yet but it’s great for the colder months. No hat required. Googles for well with it too.
