Our most versatile waterproof jacket.
This protective shell jacket is made for all-year mountaineering but works great for general outdoor activities all year, from trekking to ski touring.
The jacket is made in a premium GORE-TEX® fabric, and we use this because it is the world-leading membrane for durable waterproofness (28,000mm), optimized breathability (RET 9), and total windproofness.
The main fabric is a light, recycled 3-layer 30D mini-ripstop GORE-TEX® fabric that has a highly durable face material for its weight. In addition, the backer is smooth to prevent bulking and provides a pleasant hand touch.

The jacket has a technical fit with a Y-cut and articulated arms for good movement.

After trying the Patagonia Dual Aspect and the Arc’Teryx Beta Lightweight. I found this jacket to be the best fit for being active. The hood stays in place over a helmet, and the back is a bit longer than the Beta which is great for a tall fella like myself.

La qualité du produit est bien. Le matériel est léger et les coutures bien scellés. Le modèle est beau.
Par contre, comme certains manteaux Norrona, la coupe est particulière, en ce sens qu’elle est ceintrée au niveau de la poitrine et du dos, mais que les bras sont très amples et beaucoup trop longs.
