Love that they've brought this back as a reissue! I own the original, which has some years on it but is still in great shape. The two jackets are virtually identical.

Pit zips help vent when weather gets warm. Windstopper fabric does exactly as name suggests - surprised how well it works. Fabric is robust with reinforcement on shoulders/elbows, micro-pile exterior (won't easily snag on anything), and comfortable interior lining. This easily stands up to daily wear and tear and even mild-to-light-moderate rain. Versatile piece for most weather conditions. All pockets have quality zippers. Also, a small detail but I love that the collar will fold and lay flat OR, when fully zipped, pop up and fully enclose your neck, helping to keep wind out. Versatility makes for a tidy fit that I was able to wear office (business casual), or on a hike with kids/dogs and everywhere in between.
