The Mons Royale Virage bike shorts are light weight and super comfortable. I have purchased three pairs since they are great for biking but also look nice to wear day to day. The belt that comes with the shorts is an added bonus. The shorts are well made and super durable. The only downside and it’s not a real problem is they only have one zipper pocket.

Amazing Shorts

The fit is perfect and aligns with all my other MR clothing. I got the L and my waist measures 35.5&quot; which is typically 33-34 with most brands. I&#x27;m 5&#x27;11&quot; and the length is as expected just below the knee when standing. The material is very light and I&#x27;ll echo the concern from another review that this could become an issue for aggressive trail riding or crashes. I mostly fat bike so I&#x27;m less concerned about this..I really like the belt colour and stretch but wish the buckle was more similar to my arcteryx conveyor belt design. Overall I&#x27;m happy with these but am still deciding if their worth the $150 sale price. I would gladly spend this money (or higher) for something made in a more reputable country or for something that is truly best in class like all my MR wool shirts, but these seem more like typical good-not-great biking gear and I would definitely keep them if priced closer to 100-120. The small amount of wool seems to take the swish out of these but beyond that the material seems typical performance type synthetic but maybe a bit softer. I would also agree with another reviewer that at least one more pocket would be nice. I find left and right pocket symmetry didn&#x27;t look as nice/modern but allows for better weight distribution (phone on one side, wallet/keys on the other).

Very light layer shorts that breathe well, are comfortable, and have nice colours too.

Light and comfortable

I wanted to love these shorts but I got a medium and they are way too long and baggy. I’m concerned that the fabric is too thin and won’t last. The belt that comes with the shorts is really cool though. I’m 6’2 and 180lbs

Nice feel, very long and baggy

I have last years version of this short and they are great, but was disappointed to see that there is now only one side pocket. This is fine for riding, but on the way to the trails I have no place to put my keys. If they had a second pocket I would have kept both colors I ordered. Size was as expected, I am 6’ 180 lbs and usually wear a 32” waist, a large fit great.
