High quality probe and the perfect length for snowpack in The Canadian Rockies. Easy to dispatch and store away, I would recommend this item. Keep in mind that due to the length, the probe may be slightly stick out of your backpack (depending on its size), as was the case for me but doesn&#x27;t cause any issues.

Robuste

I did a bunch of research. This was a present for my son on the west coast. Son was very impressed with the quality and the speed with which it could be assembled. Maybe it will save a life some day.

Son loved probe320 speed lock

I bought this longer probe (350) because the snowpack in the Kootenays is deeper than the other 230 probe. Also it has centimetres marked on it for measuring snow depth.

As far as I know this probe is built to standards

The bright orange markings are super easy to read. The lightweight cord versus the usual steel cable is nice too. Deploys in one pulling motion and instantly locks and ratchets in the length. Can’t go wrong with this 320 unit.

Nice touches

This probe is well built and has a lot of great features like colour coding and measurement ticks. The 320 length should provide ample length for emergency situations.

Great probe for winter adventures

Deploys quick and easily, Great click to know it’s locked. It’s the longest I found, good for deep Coastal snowpack in BC.
