High quality materials and construction, these are adult mitts in kids size. Exactly what we needed for my 8 year old who has outgrown kids mitts and prefers mitts to gloves for extra warmth on colder ski days. He says they are noticeably warmer than his gloves (similar quality).

Bought these on sale, needed waterproof and warm mittens with a long/large cuff that fit easily over coats. So far they do all that! Size large fit a tall 8 year old well and should fit next year - I followed the sizing chart.
