New to kombi, but have a half-dozen icebreaker and smart wool base layers amongst the family. I&#x27;d say kombi is a step below both of those (but so is the price) so overall good value. We&#x27;ll see how long it lasts.

I truly love this base layer. I thought it was both flattering and comfy in fit plus it keeps me so nice and warm. I debated between Medium and Large, but saw that it fits a bit larger so opted for the medium and it fits perfect. I liked it so much, I might get another.

Best Base Layer

Fits well. It&#x27;s lightweight breathable, comfy and warm. Good for skiing, but not sure how it would hold up for underlayers for multiday trips. The fabric feels like it might stink and not dry out as fast vs merino wool. I have yet to try it out in this context.
