These gloves fits as expected. I ordered them for my teenage son. Since winter is not here, we&#x27;ve not had a chance to really try them out but they seem warm enough for what we bought them for which is primarily to play sports in the snow. While mitts likely would be warmer, I got these for more finger movement. As they will be used in active play, I suspect they will provide enough warmth even on colder days.

In contrast to the original style it is less bulky. Suited for commuting in my opinion. But if on the mountain or shoveling snow, the original&#x27;s has more padding and feels sturdier.
The slimmer look does makes it harder to maneuver the fingers because it is slightly tighter.

It is very warm and water resistant. Feels durable. Only runs slightly small.

Warm and durable

I just wanted a basic glove that I could use to play around in the snow with. They are warm but below -5 Celcius I felt my fingers got too cold unless I was being more active outdoors. Bonus points because the fingers in these gloves are not ridiculously long, something I find often as I’m just 5’4”. Not sure why as my hands never felt sweaty but the gloves retained moisture after a few hours outside. They do what I want them to do overall and the wrist fleece is delightful.
