My son likes it, it soft. However, I was a little upset to see that there is only some merino on the outside of the clothe. If merino is your first criteria, that might not be the proper top.

Comfortable top but not really merino

Base layers are supposed to be a close fit to the body but this set (top and bottom) fit small.

Had to reorder bigger size

I bought this for my niece aong with the matching bottom. She loves it. Keeps her warm and dry on any day. She really like the pattern.

Great buy

Bought for my daughter and she says it is very comfortable and not itchy at all. She wore this as a base layer under her winter coat but said she needed an extra layer on top to be warm. She does tend to get cold easily though. The pink pattern was very cute.
