Hypnotist Snowboard - Men's

The internal team at K2 Snowboarding has been dreaming of the Hypnotist for a few years, and there is no better time than the present to release our baby. This all-new premium freestyle snowboard is built for the more advanced to expert snowboarder, transitions, on hips, and on medium to large terrain park features.

We leaned on our trusty tri-blend BAP core as the foundation for the Hypnotist. We’ve added our Carbon DarkWeb™ to speed up transitions from edge to edge, and our new tip-to-tail Carbon Backbone™ to increase snap.

To help you spin that extra 180 degrees, reduce swingweight, and decrease chatter in the tip and tail, we’ve replaced the tip and tail of the core with our SpaceGlass™ construction, lighter and harder than wood, SpaceGlass™ puts the Hypnotist in a league all of it’s own. We finish it all off with a wax-infused 4001 Sintered Base from Crown - the hardest, fastest, base material that they offer.

• SpaceGlass™ Tip/Tail : An American made Aerospace grade precure fiberglass core insert used to provide unmatched structural performance at reduced weight. SpaceGlassTM inserts increase edge hold along contact points, reduce chatter, and provide unequaled durability.
• Triax Glass, Carbon DarkWeb™ : A glass laminate with diagonal layers that adds torsional stiffness for increased stability and improved edge hold. The fibers three layers are woven at 45°, 45°, and 0°. This makes for a more responsive ride longitudinally and torsionally.
• Carbon Backbone™ : Carbon stringers extend at 45º angles from the inserts in an “X” pattern, adding responsiveness and stability at all speeds.
• Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base : Built using the hardest and fastest Sintered base material on the market from Crown, the Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 holds wax longer than other Sintered bases for a smoother glide, longer.
• 2x4 Inserts : 2x4 Insert packs allow for secure binding mounting while optimizing stance-width options. Time-tested, secure, and stable.
