I have had this bag for many years and for me it is perfect, I prefer one main opening on a bag, and then several actually useful pockets, the water bottle holders on the side are strong and the bag stands up great on the ground. I use this bag for everything work, hiking, travel. I just bought one for my daughter and the design still looks solid as ever.

With Jansport no longer making the magnificent Watchtower backpack, the Hatchet was the next best option. This is a bombproof 28L pack with generally well thought out storage - great as an urban pack or for day trips.

We got this for our teenage daughter for school. It’s super support when you carry heavy books and stuff. We love the design of the way the package opens. It’s easy to find your stuff and get it out and in the bag. It’s nice and big, perfect size for what we look for. Water resistance and good for most of the weather. I am even thinking to get second one for myself.

Best backpack we can wish for

We bought this bag, it having caught the discerning eye of my teenage daughter, as a school backpack. Real vintage look. Certainly it is hard to gauge backpack versatility from online image, but based on size thought it would meet the needs. The material was quality but the bag is narrow and tall limiting the arrangement of school items, and the top flap does not hug the bag tightly to close it securely. Not great variety of extra pockets and, water bottle holder is small. Good for a university kid, not so much elementary age hauling their life on their back. Went with a teardrop, only slightly larger in litres, but was able to pack in much more.

Style over function

Beaucoup d’espace et beau style, maintenant je suis curieuse de voir si la qualité le fera durer plusieurs années! Je le souhaite!

Got this bag for a trip overseas. Just breaking it in the few weeks before I go and I am very impressed by the quality, all of the storage and organized pockets are going to be a delight to travel with. That and AS delivered it in two days, on a Monday when I&#x27;d bought it on a Saturday! Great stuff!

Nice size, lots of pockets, seems like great quality. The shipping was super fast as well. Altitude sports had the best deal of all the sites I checked.
