I own several Icebreaker t-shirts and honestly love them all. This one is a slightly lighter weight. Very soft and keeps you cool. Goes with everything-with shorts or even under a blazer. Highly recommend.

Wool shirt

I got this in black and it looks good enough to wear to work. Light and not scratchy. I just wish it was a little shorter.

Icebreaker quality

Comfortable and light weight. Size runs smaller and longer than expected.

Comfy shirt

I wanted a couple of ultralight T-shirt for hot weather so I tried this Icebreaker Sphere III 125 Cool-Lite Merino Blend T-shirt in the colour glazen (light green) as well as the Icebreaker Merino 125 Cool-Lite Sphere III one in the colour kyanite (light blue). I am typically a size small for clothing and I like my activewear to be semi-fitted, not form-fitting nor too loose, but I have found I often take a medium in both Icebreaker and Smartwool clothing. However, size medium in these T-shirts was way too big and they were baggy and not at all flattering, plus, I will agree with the reviewers who said they are much too sheer. And that is even with them being very loose fitting. I returned them and ordered Smartwool’s Merino Sport 120 Short Sleeve Tee in black and even though the Smartwool ones are 120gsm vs Icebreaker’s 125gsm, I find the Smartwool shirt to be a touch thicker and not see-through and like it so much I plan to order a second one. I did have to size down though. The Smartwool one has a higher ratio of merino wool to Lyocell than the Icebreaker ones. Perhaps the light colours of the Icebreaker shirts vs the darker colours in the Smartwool shirts has something to do with sheerness though, but overall the Smartwool one was the winner for me. YMMV. 

As another aside, I recently &#x27;discovered&#x27; Altitude Sports and was so happy it is a Canadian company, so I bought a membership and am really enjoying shopping on their website for an upcoming trip that will have a variety of weather. They have a great selection of all things sports-related, customer service has been outstanding for any questions and they make returns easy.

Might be good for hot weather but sizing was too big and it is rather thin; liked Smartwool Merino Sport 120 way better

SmartWool merino wool clothing and their merino wool blends are my favourite ladies&#x27; merino clothing (and I&#x27;ve tried several). I wanted a couple of ultralight T-shirt for hot weather so tried this T-shirt in two colours as well as the V-neck one. I am typically a size S for clothing but with SmartWool, I take M. Interestingly, the T-shirt in the colour Twilight Blue was not sheer so I will try it in a size S as I do like the weight of this T-shirt and think it will be good for hot weather activities.
