A little on the big side, although as another reviewer commented, due to lack of elastic they&#x27;re snug to pull over the hips. Once on they&#x27;re super light for those hot days.

Nice cool shorts

It is a very comfy shorts and I love the material. It is a good outdoor shorts for travel, hiking and camping. The size runs a bit big. Overall I like the shorts.

La coupe est un peu moins évasée et plus proche de la jambe que sur la photo. Comme à l&#x27;habitude chez Houdini, très belle finition.

Very well-made comfy shorts. They run slightly large but have a built-in belt to cinch them in. I prefer shorts to be a little on the baggy side anyway. The material is slightly rougher than I expected as I have the liquid rock shorts from this brand and they are not the same fabric. Nice deep pockets. I will wear these walking the dog or walking on the beach.

Due to the elasticized waist, these shorts are slightly challenging to pull-up, but once they’re up, they fit very well. I really like the flattering length and the comfortable lightweight fabric that has just the right amount of stretch (6% elastane) – they keep their shape and don’t bag out. The cut/placement of the pockets is not 100% flattering as they don’t lie flat but they’re ok as they are quite functional. Overall, I’m giving these shorts four stars instead of five due to the elasticized waist and the cut/placement of the pockets. Even so, I’m thinking about buying a second pair of these shorts because I anticipate wearing them all summer. These shorts are both sporty and casual. In my experience, finding shorts that fit well and are flattering is not an easy feat.
