Wanted to try out this pair of Hokas but found them too stiff. Definitely different than the typical Hokas. Will be returning but seems great for those who appreciate a firmer ride.

Stiffer than normal Hokas

Am doubtful toe wouldn’t eventually wear through the top of the shoe. Great fit, very light and great cushion.

Overall the shoe is really good, only thing is it fits tight, I wear same size of other shoe brands and they are better fit.

The shoe fits narrow, and the cushion is very firm and presses someone inward, at least on the pair I received it did. I tried wearing these a lot just walking to break them in, and some short runs for a few months. Eventually I tried 10km, and they dug in so bad that I have the worst foot wound I’ve ever had. After that run, I used a knife to try to cut out the section that was pointing inward. Tried a short run again (I didn’t want to have to buy new shoes) and it helped a little bit, but not enough. My advice - if they work for your feet great, but if they don’t just return them right away and don’t be as persistent as I was.

The firm support was more than I thought it would be. Took some getting used to but I like it
