Works best if you chill the metal a little beforehand. Works well if you don’t.

Works as advertised

I used have used this twice so far. First time I used it at the beach, on a very hot day. It kept my 2 beverages nice and cold, and it was nice not to have to carry a cooler (as I ended up having to carry a toddler!).
Second time I used it was on a hike... although lugging the extra weight wouldn&#x27;t be recommended for very long hikes, sitting and enjoying a cold beverage on a small hike with a view was brilliant. 
Seems well made, and keeps things cold. (I have tested around 8 hours, but am not sure what the limit is). The (standard size) cans fit in nice and snug, without any sliding back and forth. I&#x27;m sure you could use this with a single tall can, but would have to insert something as a spacer. 
Overall, I&#x27;m very pleased with it.
