This is a well-constructed sling and likely a great option for many people. However, it did not work for what I wanted to use it for. I couldn&#x27;t fit my phone in the strap, which was what I was looking for. Other than that, the inside of the bag holds plenty of stuff and is well organized with internal pockets.

Pratique

- With this bag, I can fit a tall 1 L insulated Hydro Flask bottle as well as a compact Fulton umbrella with a bit of room left at the top area of the main compartment. It&#x27;s the main reason for my purchase - to fit long items. Not easy to do with other sling bags.
- The quick access pocket up top is deep enough to hold sunglasses, but a case will be recommended since the inside isn&#x27;t soft and items put in there can hit against items in the main compartment. The quick access zipper is wide enough to allow wallets of about 3.5&quot; width to fit through, but with a bit of difficulty going in and out.
- Bottom is not padded, but does employ a more durable fabric.
- The front zipper pocket is large enough to stash a lightweight windbreaker.
- The bag strap can be switched to either side by unhooking the buckle from a loop (in a similar fashion to Patagonia Black Hole duffel bag). The loop is well hidden to the side and should not cause rubbing against one&#x27;s back.
- Another positive is that the back panel surface isn&#x27;t rough (unlike that of the Patagonia Atom Sling which causes excessive pilling of clothes) and does have a moderately firm structure.
- One negative (in my case) is that when carrying with weight (i.e. insulated bottle filled with water), the strap does not lie flat against my back. Instead the weight is concentrated on the inside edge of the strap. This could be due to my body shape. It will not be a concern for those carrying just lightweight items.
- Also, when the bag is swung around to the front, it may not conform as well to the body compared to sling bags with shorter lengths. Accessing the top zippered pocket will also be difficult.
- There are good and bad trade-offs. Overall, it is a well-built bag (strong stitching, durable material) at a fair price even when not on sale.
