Great coat: good length; the G2000 material is tough and durable; warm, wore it in minus 15, no issue; front pocket great for hand and storage. This coat runs one size bigger than I normally buy.

On cherchait un manteau assez chaud et long pour prendre de longues marches: voilà! Il coupe le vent, il couvre les cuisses, il est bien coupé et beau. Le capuchon est bien fait. Jusqu&#x27;à présent il a été testé jusqu&#x27;à moins 12oC, rien à redire.

Size is Good

I&#x27;ve been using a combination of the Arc&#x27;Teryx Cerium LT, a North Face McMurdo Parka and a blue over coat (for days when a suit is required at the office) for my winter jacket needs for a few years. The Fjalraven Singi Wool Padded Parka was appealing to me because it would allow me to reasonably combine all of the above mentioned insulators into a coat I could use (mostly) everyday. What also drew me to the Singi Wool was the promise of warmth without looking like the Michelin Man. The Singi Wool delivered on this promise as it is warm without being puffy. The appearance might not appeal to everyone but it was perfect for my needs, which are playing with young kids outside and making trips to the office which is typically casual but often more formal in dress-code. That isn&#x27;t to say that the Singi Wool replaces the above jackets (with the exception of the McMurdo, which has been relegated to garbage and construction duty) but it will, for example, allow me to wear a suit jacket beneath it without too much difficulty or looking altogether inappropriate. It&#x27;s not practical for skiing or winter sports activities so I still rely on my Cerium overlayed with an Arc&#x27;Teryx Alpha SV. Only gripes are the lack of hand warming pockets and the fleece along the shoulder blades which, while warm, cause my suit jackets or sweaters to bunch.

Altogether, I&#x27;m really pleased with this purchase. The fit was great. The finish is quality (which I absolutely insist on in anything I buy) and I expect it to last at least 10 years before if too gets relegated to work coat status.

Enfin un manteau d’hiver suffisamment chaud pour pour porter seulement un t-shirt dessous peu importe la température! Même sous la barre des -15 Celsius le manteau est extrêmement confortable sans avoir besoin d’une couche supplémentaire! On voit que le manteau est d’une bonne qualité, tout a l’air très solide, boutons, fermeture éclair, couture je recommande fortement.

Amazing quality. G-1000 as usually great. Wool lining. I like the look, and wool keeps you warm enough, in Calgary. It a bit on a heavier side so not for a ultra light guys. Fit mostly true to size, maybe just a little bit larger, but not a lot.
