Great Jacket

This is my first Filson jacket and I wasn&#x27;t sure about the sizing. I normally wear medium from Carhartt as I&#x27;m 6&#x27;1&quot; 200lb. I&#x27;m glad went with medium and it fits perfectly. I like the fact that it has an extra layer on the shoulder area. Any backpackers would appreciate it.

Awesome Jacket

It’s a great coat I am one size down in all Filson thins except for their coats. This was too small for me, who likes some extra room. For you guys who like a tighter fight, stay with the usual one size down. For guys who like some room, air at your regular size.

I love this jacket. Sizing was tricky as I&#x27;m typically a medium but the body was very billowy so I had to size down to a small. Surprisingly warm for its weight and thickness. Layers great over a T-shirt or sweater as well as under a shell.
I was originally looking for a synthetic lightweight mid-layer that compresses well for hiking and canoe trips that I could also use casually. I looked at the typical offerings from Patagonia, Fjallraven, LL Bean, ETC but settled on the Filson and am very happy with it.
