To be honest, I&#x27;m only doing this review for the $10 store credit that I supposedly get for leaving a review. Good piece of kit. Not convinced that the DWR treatment will hold up as well as other high-end outdoor apparel brands. Haven&#x27;t been out in a downpour yet but from the rain/snow that it&#x27;s seen there&#x27;s been the slightest bit of wet out. However, nothing concerning. Breathability seems better than expected but haven&#x27;t done any high output activities in it yet. Time will tell. Fabric is durable! Slightly more burly then the Beta AR Pro and less noisy. It was worth purchasing at a discounted rate (25% off). I like Filson. I have a mustache and own a hatchet. I drink black coffee if there&#x27;s no milk. I bought the &quot;Raven&quot; colour. It&#x27;s a medium-dark grey with black zippers. Look at the Filson website of the rugged blond man who is 6&#x27;1&quot;, 185lbs wearing a size medium for accuracy. I&#x27;ve worn it quite a bit and I&#x27;m pleased. Fit is good. I&#x27;m the taller end of 5&#x27;11&quot; and 180lbs with an athletic build (broad shoulders with a slim 32&quot; waist) and a medium fits roomy. Good and spacious for layering over a high pile sweater or thick hoodie. Zippers are heavy duty but this shell might have missed the mark by not having pit zips. The hood has good coverage and fits well but my head and neck feel restricted when the hood is on and the zipper is fully done up. Almost as if the back of the hood is not long enough. Hood tensioner pull and lay nicely but they don&#x27;t stay set and keep the hood tensioned. If you move your head they&#x27;ll loosen up to allow movement and remain readjusted to that position. Overall 4/5 stars. Built well with great materials but needs improvement.

Amazing rain jacket, i am 5’8” 160lbs and ordered the medium, fits to allow a thick sweater or puffy jacket underneath.

Excellent high quality rain jacket

Great rain jacket.
I usually wear XL and have room for layering but the L is a perfect fit for warmer weather.
It’s kept me dry so far.

This is a well made rain javket. It features big pockets and zippers designed to last for a long time. The green version of this coat is really nice! I am happy with this purchase. Size M runs a bit big for me.
