Everything you might expect from ECCO shoes is there: quality and comfort. but they are not perfect - way too heavy and not breathable enough to be worn during the summer. Should be good for urban walks in spring and autumn months.

Heavy shoes !!!!

These Ecco Ult Trn hikers are beautifully made with quality construction and finish. The toe box is spacious enough, the tongue and heel coverage is comfortable and protective. Laces are easy to knot and tighten/loosen. The only thing is the length of the preformed midsole arch contour is way too long for my feet, making it intolerable to walk or stand in for even short durations. I may try a smaller size but all the other fit aspects are optimal. Hope you might have better luck!

Nearly perfect

I bought these shoes to wear around town and for walking/light hiking and they should be well-suited for that. They have a decent tread and appear to be well-made and reasonably comfortable, but they are a bit large. I typically wear size 9.5 and ordered the &quot;9-9.5&quot; size wondering if they would be too small, but they are noticeably longer than my other 9.5 shoes. I think they&#x27;ll be ok for me, but someone on the lower end of the range may want to size down.
