The benefit of synthetic insulation: It is much easier to care for than down and it is not sensitive to moisture. It insulates even when wet, feels comfy and soft next-to-skin and can be tossed in the washing machine for uncomplicated care. These characteristics make the Speed Insulation ideally suited for a wide variety of use. It is the perfect choice for fast mountain and ski tours, for extended rest breaks on the summit, or as a warm midlayer in biting cold. Thanks to a wind-and water-resistant outer shell that is also 100% recycled, you can also wear this jacket on its own without a problem.
