Our Original boot turns 60 this year. And to celebrate we're expanding our range of colours and materials — right down to upcoming rebel sizes.
These new 1460 boots are built from Patent Lamper with all our original markings locked in: yellow stitching, grooved sides and an AirWair heel loop. Built for the next generation of DM's wearers, they have a side zip for easy access.
• Born on 01.04.60. Named the 1460. Over six decades, our 8-eye work boot has become iconic.
• Patent Lamper is a fine-grained leather, coated to give a high shine, glossy finish. Clean with a damp cloth and restore its shine with Dr. Martens Patent Cleaner.
• Flexible cemented sole construction for growing feet.
• Material This fine-grained leather is coated to give a high-shine, glossy finish.
• Construction: The sole is cemented to the upper.
Materials
• Upper: 100% Coated Leather
• Inner: 100% Textile
• Sole: 100% PVC
Care
• Wipe away any dirt using a damp cloth. Allow to dry. To restore shine use Dr Martens Patent cleaner.
