I confess I knew it was JUST a rain cover but it is even thinner than I expected. I haven't worn it outside yet but I don't expect it to provide anything in the way of warmth. I hoped for some kind of lining but that's my fault for seeing what I wanted to see.
I will probably have to buy another lined "rubber duck" style jacket because I live in the land of atmospheric rivers but I will be using this on days when I am not sure how much it will rain and don't want to haul a big coat with me (and there are many such days).

This rain jacket is really more of a shell but it has lots of room for a warm sweater underneath. It’s a very comfortable fit and does not look bulky.
