First on sizing, I&#x27;m usually a size 8 but due to the other reviews mentioning needing to size up, I ordered the size 8 and 9&#x27;s. Sure enough, the 8&#x27;s were too small, and the 9&#x27;s fit well but did take a bit of a wiggle to get my feet to slide in (secure l, comfortable fit once in though). Shoutout to Altitude Sports free returns when being a member for returning the size 8&#x27;s. 

As for the sandals, they seem extremely well made with quite a bit of cushion and a robust sole. My last two sandals (Reef sandals) have failed though where the fabric thong slides into the sole so I&#x27;m curious to see how long that holds up over time.

The size is a bit small for my very standard-sized foot.

Great shoe

If your original Flips have finally worn out, buy a size up in these new Lowdowns. A few weeks ago, the side strap of one of my original Chaco Flips (purchased in 2018) pulled out of the footbed. Naturally I took their size (M10) and ordered these new ones. Afterall, why would they change the sizing? But when I got the Lowdowns, despite the sole being the exact same dimensions (I checked them against my originals), I can&#x27;t even get the Lowdowns on my feet. I&#x27;ll be returning them in favour of a size up, but I&#x27;ll still take a hit on shipping. Hopefully this review will save you that same disappointment.

The sizing has changed from original Flips

I have owned several pair of Chaco Z6 sandals over the years, so I decided to purchase a pair of their flip flops. The footbed is made of the same material as their sandals, which is great. The soles are not made from Vibram like the sandals, but are durable for outdoor wear. The flip flops run small, so order 1/2 size up. Overall, the are excellent flip flops.

Sandale

It’s true to size, and feels like great grip underneath your foot and on the bottom tread, but I just wasn’t prepared for the length of time it takes to wear these in properly.

Solid but firm

Very comfortable flips from Chaco. The footbed provides excellent arch support. The strap is just right, neither too tight nor too loose. Unlike other Chaco sandals these fit slightly small. I wear 11.5 running shoes and sized up to 12 for the right fit.

As others have said, sizes run a bit small.

Just what we ordered.

Usually order a size 11. They felt much smaller. I would definitely go at least a size up. Other than that quality seems good.

Quite Small

I have been a Chaco customer for over 20 years and the footbed in these sandals are incredible. They perform and they are anatomically supportive.
The flip flop was not true to size. I am typically a 9.5 in most shoes but always buy a 10 in Chaco. These sandals still ran small.
The straps are not particularly comfortable. The in between toe strap is abrasive. 
Food bed is still awesome.
