I love these socks but they’re not the toughest. You need to take some care putting them on.

Ordered these socks for fall cycling through late spring. I appreciate the thin and yet warm socks to keep my feet dry as the temperature drops to -5 degrees Celsius. A lesson learned from the past is that a thicker wool sock does not always keep your feet warm as it builds excessive sweat, tight fit and consequently numb toes. As these are Merino wool mix, I&#x27;m optimistic that I can extend the use of these socks into summer!

Surprisingly Warm for Cool/Cold Weather Cycling

doesnt do much to keep your feet warm at temperatures under 5 degrees even with overshoes. at the price it would be worth just buying a more expensive overshoe for cold weather. I wear pretty bulky padded hicking socks instead now. i didnt find much of a difference between the summer sock and this one to be honest.
