Great shoe

I’m a big fan of Brooks and have gone through about 4-5 pairs of Ghost runners, I thought I’d try the Launch GTS but had to return them- they run a size bigger than I was imagining.

Launch GTS runs big

These shoes were too big. I bought another pair of Brooks wide / same size and they fit much better. I like the style of these, and they are nice a light-weight, just fit large.

Average

I bought this shoe primarily because of its availability in a wide D-width size. It&#x27;s so hard to find any wide shoes, let along in my size at a sale price that I am willing to try most anything if available in the shoe category I require. 
The Brooks Launch is value-priced compared to the Brooks Cascadia and Brooks Adrenaline. As such, the Launch is also a less substantial and less supportive shoe. It would be a good road running shoe for a short distance runner with good biomechanics. For a longer-distance runner or person with biomechanical issues or heavier build, it falls low in forefoot cushioning and lateral support. In womens size 7-1/2 (wide), the shoe laces are oddly short. Even when pulled snug, it&#x27;s almost impossible to double-tie the laces as they are just barely long enough. I have Brooks Cascadias in the exact same size, and these (Launch) are a bit narrower and longer, even in the identical size and width. 
Conclusion: For a moderate price, it&#x27;s a decent general purpose sneaker for errands and urban walks.

Wide but not to wide

I have sensitive feet. The tongue of the shoe does not have any padding which caused a pressure point (pain) on the top of my foot. The overall quality and make of the shoe is good. Good cushion - felt like stepping on clouds.
