I got these because I wasn’t sure if my poles came with it - turns out it does so now I have an extra set. I don’t like it how small they are but won’t be using them this season. I expect it will work well though.

Snow baskets

These feel really well made. A bit smaller than I expected comparing them to snow baskets on another pair of BD poles. I bought these for my Black Diamond Distance carbon fibre z-poles and it makes sense that they are smaller to save weight. I ended up returning these only because they are not the right model for my poles (mine require the middle circle to be cut out of the side to insert them into the poles that way). Otherwise I would have kept them.

Well built, but not for me

Super pratiques!

We ordered trekking poles to be used primarily for snowshoeing and were a little surprised that they did not come with pole baskets. We promptly went to Altitude and ordered the Alpine Z-Pole Baskets. They work as we expected they would and are perfect for our Black Diamond trekking (and now snowshoeing too!) poles.
