It&#x27;s best sun protect jacket.

This is a really nice sun hoodie, with a thin and very elastic material. Feels good on the skin and does a great job at keeping one cool. It drew my attention with the zipper and underarm mesh material, both quite convenient features in hot and humid conditions.

On the negative side: 
- the zipper (while great as an option) is quite hard and uncomfortable when rubbing against the chin
- it stains really easily and visibly after sweat dries. Much more so than any other shirt (sun or otherwise) that I wear, so it requires very frequent washing
- given how elastic the material is, the zip pocket is only useful for very light objects. A phone (even if it fits) will hang very awkwardly

Nice Sun Hoodie

The Alpenglow Pro Hoody is incredibly comfortable, loose but not baggy or saggy, long arms and body and on the hottest days I don’t miss a T Shirt. The material is very soft without the ‘snagging’ on dry skin that some synthetic fabrics have. This is my new favourite hiking/scrambling item of clothing for the summer months.

Exceptional comfort and coverage

I have a OR Astroman sun hoodie and wanted to try the Alpenglow Pro for a comparison. The Alpenglow is softer, has more stretch, and has very usable thumb holes that both cover the backs of my hand and don&#x27;t pull the arms tight. Big plus there as I have long arms. The hood is panelled so it sits really well with or without a cap. The mesh underarms do help with moving heat away. Any complaints? Very minor, the zip is robust which is good, but if I have it zipped all the way I sometimes notice it on my throat. Mostly when the hood isn&#x27;t up as the weight pulls on it. You stop noticing it pretty soon. It is slightly heavier than the Astroman and slightly thicker but I don&#x27;t think it&#x27;s really any warmer. It might be more sun hoody than you need, but I can see getting a lot of use out it and I&#x27;m glad I have it. I&#x27;m 6&#x27;2&quot;, 190 lbs, large fits perfectly.

I normally fit a Mens Medium really well, but the arms are really large in this. If you have very large upper arms this will fit you well.

Runs Large

Lightweight, breathable and comfortable. Does a great job of wicking moisture away from your skin. Fits true to size.

Awesome Hoodie

Excellent sun shirt for active activities in the mountains. Particularly happy to have it while belaying and climbing multipitches in sunny conditions. Very confortable and stays dry.
