Barbour Ashby Jacket

I bought the jacket as a surprise gift for my dad. He had one many years ago and was talking about watching a TV show on the making of the jacket. He was so happy to receive the jacket. He spends a lot of time outdoors and is a retired cattle buyer. I purchased an XL and it fit perfectly. 
My dad is 6&#x27;3&quot; 44 inch chest. Very well made and excellent quality zippers.

Beautiful Jacket

A very nice jacket. It is somewhat smaller fitting. I agree with reviewers Craig E. and Albert W. as I am of similar size and purchased the XXL as well. Still good for layering, sleeves however, are just barely long enough for me. The cuff is straight with a corduroy lining, so you can easily turn it up and still look smart if you have shorter arms.

Sizing Check

Compared to the classic ones, Bedale and Beaufort, this Ashby has a slim fit. Consider your normal size, or size up. However, sleeves might be long. Also, one pocket inside. (Bedale does not feature it).

Beautifully made jacket . We unfortunately returned it with the caution on the label that the wax on the surface of the jacket may stain light coloured materials . Also you cannot clean this coat ( no dry cleaning or machine wash) brush off and retreat with a wax product .
