I was very excited about this jacket and it is really nice. I also got the Ashley wax but not lighweight and the difference between both is really evident. The lightweight is much more lighter and maleable than the normal Ashley. At the end, I had to choose and I kept the non- lightweight sine I want to wear it when it is colder, I would not wear the lightweight when temperature is below 7 degrees Celsius. If you need a lighter one, this is the one to go, the style is perfect with a british accent.

Tailored jacket that keeps you looking good in the city. Its long enough to be worn over a suit without looking out of place. The navy colour is beautiful and goes with everything.

Its my go to jacket when I want something a bit more casual than a topcoat.

Keeps me warm and dry without overheating due to its lighweight fabric. However, because its lighter, it doesnt drap as well as the regular Ashby.

Its a tailored fit, so I had to size up from my original size.

Great spring jacket for the city

I absolutely love this jacket. The fit is perfect, it feels high end, I wear it over a blazer or sport coat and it covers it perfectly. Water repellent wax is nice and gives an old school look as well to the garment. As this is the lightweight version of Barbours waxed jacket it’s way less heavy but feels more fragile as well. Time will tell but I definitely recommend.
