I live in the subarctic part of Canada and wanted gloves that are warm enough to sustain the wind and cold of -30 and colder while also having dexterity recognizing mittens would be warmer but lacking it. Haven’t tried these on for the super cold days but so far they’ve done well in -20s. I like the protection on the back and the size is true to size. I have long fingers and typically wear size large in latex gloves. Got these in medium and they fit well.

J’ai eu plusieurs paires de gants Auclair. Toujours de bonne qualité. Pourtant j’ai dû retourner ceux-ci parce qu’après les avoir portés que quelques fois les coutures se défaisaient au niveau des doigts. Sans doute un item défectueux. Sinon ils sont très chauds et impeccables.

Really nice gloves. I bought them to wear during ski racing - to help protect my fingers while in gates. They’re great for that purpose. My only frustration is that they’re big for unisex gloves. I got XS. The fingers are both long and wide on me. I’m not a big woman, but have typically had no problem with even XS men’s gloves. These are big.
